Morello Company delivered to Angola a battery powered transport platform suitable to transport material up to 20 tons inside a painting room.
This transport platform, as all handling equipment that Morello supply, is designed and manufactured in Italy at Morello workshop, in Turin.
It is designed to lift the load positioned on some supports, to bring it inside the painting room, lie it down on other supports and go out from the room.
Indeed, this battery powered platform has the self-lifting feature; its loading deck can be lifted by 200 mm thanks to some hydraulic cylinders placed inside the frame.
Since it has to work inside a painting room, this transport platform is completely protected by suitable rubber, steel and glass cover all around its perimeter.
Furthermore it is equipped with rubber wheels sized in order to allow the trolley to travel on grating floor even with full load.
Another important feature of this trolley driven by AC electric motors is its very small turning radius. Indeed, the front wheels can turn by 90° in both direction, so the trolley can turn around the rear axle centre, ensuring a very small turning radius.
This electric transport platform can be controlled by a remote controller with a potentiometric joystick that allows a very smooth acceleration and a complete speed control.
On board of the trolley is mounted a color LCD panel that shows information about the diagnostic of the vehicle, very useful to the operator.
