Morello designed and manufactured an electric die cart that can handle automotive dies up to 50 tons.
This electric die cart can travel up to 6 km/h; that’s why the operator can drive it by command stations on board.
There are n°4 different command stations (interlocked) in order to allow the operator to drive always with the best view, also during reverse movements.
Every command station is provided with a driving wheel to steer, a joystick to accelerate and decelerate, a led screen indicating wheels direction, an emergency push button and a dead man pedal.
The electric die cart loading deck is covered with hard wood batons to avoid damaging of press dies.
It has two axles lines and both can steer, in order to reduce turning radius as much as possible and travel also in narrow spaces.
The battery autonomy of this electric die cart is very high; it can works continuously up to 8 hours.
It is equipped with hydraulic brakes to assure a little braking time also when fully loaded and at maximum speed.
For safety operation it is also equipped with n°2 flashing lights and n°2 blue spot that point on the ground some meters ahead, very useful to warn the electric die cart arriving.
As per any other Morello’s machine, it can be customized with every customer request.
