Constantly trying to meet the needs of customers with the most demanding requirements, Morello Giovanni has created a platform lift truck, capable of lifting and handling moulds and other types of loads, up to 60 tons.
The main feature of this platform lift truck is the much reduced height of the loading platform, which is only 600 mm from the ground. Despite the great weight that it is able to transport, this platform lift truck can therefore slide under loads placed on very low supports, whilst also maintaining the centre of gravity of the loads at as low a height as possible, and therefore a safer one.
The platform of the platform lift truck is also able to lift up, staying level, by about 120 mm. In this way it is possible to avoid the use of cranes or bridge cranes, even for weights of this magnitude.
The great flexibility of this platform lift truck is highlighted even more notably by its incredible manoeuvrability. Thanks to an ergonomic potentiometric radio control, controlling the platform lift truck is very easy and does not involve any kind of effort. The absence of a control helm, common to standard platform lift trucks, further increases its flexibility and ease of use, reducing its turning radius. The steering radius that is already very small, as the steering wheel is able to rotate by ± 90 °, allowing the platform lift truck to rotate around the centre of the axis line of the fixed wheels.
Both the traction and the steering are motorised by AC electrical motors. Hydraulics are used only to lift the loading platform.
The trolley lift truck is powered by the very latest generation lithium battery, which can be fully recharged in only 2 hours.
On request, this platform lift truck can also be supplied in an AGV version, with completely autonomous drive, with different drive technologies (laser, inertial, magnetic, optical, …) and with different control systems (customer system, local system, … ).
